SEA DELIGHT, LLC ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF BONAMAR'S INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Sea Delight, LLC, a Florida-based company and market leader in fresh and frozen seafood, recently finalized the acquisition of intellectual property relating to Bonamar Corporation. With this acquisition, Sea Delight has acquired the former Corporation’s brands and trademarks including the notable Sebastian Brand and other top seafood brands.

The acquired brands and trademarks will operate under the Sea Delight family of businesses.

Bonamar Corporation, founded in 2003 and based in Doral, Florida, formerly operated as an importer and distributor of premium crab meat and fin fish to retail, wholesale and foodservice markets. The Bonamar Corporation grew to be one of the nation’s premiere crab meat producers, importers and distributors. In February 2019, Bonamar Corporation was placed in an assignment for the benefit of creditors. Although the Sebastian brand had great brand recognition and success, the parent company, Bonamar Corporation, was liquidated as a result of defaulting on their credit line. This created an uncertain future for its premium brands supply chain and staff. This was the perfect complement to the Sea Delight line of high-quality innovative products.
